About Me

I’m Simona, 3-6 Montessori teacher, loving the method, and trying to be my best version at it. This is My Montessori Shelf, a place where you can find resources and inspiration for working with children.

I believe Montessori shouldn’t be the exception when talking about education and about ways of approaching the child, but it should be normality.

I am Simona Anton, 3 to 6 y.o. Montessori Guide, accredited by Association Montessori Internationale, I love the method and I try to put it into practice in my best version.

I got an Early Childhood Education Diploma from UAIC Iași, Romania, because I wanted to work with children. I still felt that I needed something more. That something that made sense to me was Montessori. I got my 3-6 AMI Montessori teacher diploma at the Montessori Institute of Bucharest and have worked with children for 6 years, in Iași, Romania and in Hanoi, Vietnam.

I believe in work done with passion, in the fact that you can learn constantly and that you never know where you can find inspiration. I believe that beauty resides in the fact that we are different and that education is the basis to an accomplished world.

Montessori isn’t just for the elite, or for a certain type of child. Montessori is for all the children!

I want to make the Montessori method more accessible, for it to reach as many children as possible. That is the method’s charm, the more it is shared, the better it gets.

That is why I created My Montessori Shelf where, through the courses on the website, through 1:1 meetings with me and through my blog articles the digital materials I designed, you will be able to understand and apply Montessori.

Whether you work in Montessori or in a traditional system, whether you’re a parent or not, if you’re willing to learn more about the method, I want to help you!

Thanks for dropping by and please write to me about any idea, about the materials, if you have a question or an opinion you want to share. You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, or by email.

Here’s to more cooperation and less competition!

Thank you for reading, see other articles, and check out the courses.
